An additional session of the Interfaces MIB WG (ifmib) will be
held on Wednesday, 1330-1530.


	

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

1.  NEWCOMER's ORIENTATION: On Sunday, October 31st at 16:30 we will be
    holding an orientation session for newcomers (Room: San Jacinto 1.)  
    ALL FIRST TIME ATTENDEES ARE ENCOURAGED TO RETRIEVE AND READ RFC 1539 
    BEFORE ATTENDING THE MEETING.*  Entitled "The Tao of IETF: A Guide for 
    New Attendees of the Internet Engineering Task Force", this RFC is 
    available by anonymous FTP.  Login with the username "anonymous" and 
    password "guest".  After logging in, Type "cd rfc". "get rfc1539.txt".

    * This document DOES contain up-to-date information regarding the
      IETF Secretariat Staff.
 
2.  On Monday morning, November 1st, at 08:00 Dave Crocker will be running a 
    session entitled "Working Group Chairs Workshop".  The same information 
    is covered in a second Workshop on Wednesday morning, November 3rd at 08:00.
    Both sessions meet in Room: San Jacinto 1.

3.  Information on the Social Event will be forthcoming.

dependent upon the informed, constructive participation of the
individual attendees.  Please come prepared.
