A new Request for Comments is now available in online RFC libraries. RFC 1579: Title: Firewall-Friendly FTP Author: S. Bellovin Mailbox: smb@research.att.com Pages: 4 Characters: 8,806 Updates/Obsoletes: none This memo describes a suggested change to the behavior of FTP client programs. No protocol modifications are required, though we outline some that might be useful. This memo provides information for the Internet community. This memo does not specify an Internet standard of any kind. Distribution of this memo is unlimited. This announcement is sent to the IETF list and the RFC-DIST list. Requests to be added to or deleted from the IETF distribution list should be sent to IETF-REQUEST@CNRI.RESTON.VA.US.
