 A Revised Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts
directories. This draft is a work item of the Application MIB Working
 Group of the IETF.

Title : Definitions of System-Level Managed Objects for
                   Applications
       Author(s) : C. Krupczak, J. Saperia
       Filename : draft-ietf-applmib-sysapplmib-08.txt
       Pages : 48
       Date : 04/21/1997

This memo defines a portion of the Management Information Base (MIB) for
use with network management protocols in the Internet community. In
particular, it describes a basic set of managed objects for fault,
configuration and performance management of applications from a systems
perspective. More specifically, the managed objects are restricted to
information that can be determined from the system itself and which does
not require special instrumentation within the applications to make the
information available.

This memo does not specify a standard for the Internet community.

Send a message to: mailserv@ds.internic.net. In the body type:
     "FILE /internet-drafts/draft-ietf-applmib-sysapplmib-08.txt".

NOTE: The mail server at ds.internic.net can return the document in
MIME-encoded form by using the "mpack" utility. To use this
feature, insert the command "ENCODING mime" before the "FILE"
command. To decode the response(s), you will need "munpack" or
a MIME-compliant mail reader. Different MIME-compliant mail readers
exhibit different behavior, especially when dealing with
"multipart" MIME messages (i.e., documents which have been split
up into multiple messages), so check your local documentation on
      how to manipulate these messages.

Below is the data which will enable a MIME compliant mail reader
implementation to automatically retrieve the ASCII version
of the Internet-Draft.
