The IESG has received a request from the Access/Synchronization of the
Internet Directories Working Group to consider the following three
Internet-Drafts for the status of Draft Standard:

1. Lightweight Directory Access Protocol
	<draft-ietf-asid-lightdirect-00.txt>

2. The String Representation of Standard Attribute Syntaxes
	<draft-ietf-asid-syntaxes-00.txt>

3. A String Representation of Distinguished Names
	<draft-ietf-asid-dist-names-00.txt>

The IESG was also requested to consider the following Internet-Draft
for the status of Proposed Standard:

4. Using the OSI Directory to achieve User Friendly Naming
	<draft-ietf-asid-user-friendly-dir-00.txt>

The IESG plans to make a decision in the next few weeks, and solicits
final comments on this action. Please send any comments to the
iesg@cnri.reston.va.us or ietf@cnri.reston.va.us mailing lists by
February 2, 1995.
