  The IESG has approved the Internet-Draft "IEEE 802.5 MIB"
  <draft-ietf-ifmib-tokenringmib-00.txt> as a Draft Standard. This
  document is the product of the Interfaces MIB Working Group. The
  IESG contact person is Marshall T. Rose.
 
 
Technical Summary

  This is an update to "IEEE 802.5 Token Ring MIB" (RFC 1231),
  Proposed Standard, based on implementation experience.

Working Group Summary

  There were no contentious issues in the working group.

Protocol Quality

  There are several implementations of RFC 1231 commercially
  available.  This update doesn't break anything.
