This Internet Draft describes various classes of authentication mechanisms 
that might be used in internetworking protocols and provides information 
and guidance.  The draft is intended to be published as an Informational 
RFC in the future to provide guidance to protocol designer within the 
Internet community.  The bibliography is fairly comprehensive and may prove
useful by itself.
