The IESG has received a request from the Interfaces MIB Working Group to consider "Definitions of Managed Objects for the Ethernet-like Interface Types" <draft-ietf-ifmib-ethmib-smiv2-00.txt> for the status of Standard. The IESG plans to make a decision in the next few weeks, and solicits final comments on this action. Please send any comments to the iesg@cnri.reston.va.us, or ietf@cnri.reston.va.us mailing lists by 30 May. Note: This is the same MIB module as draft-ietf-ifmib-ethmib-smiv1-00.txt, but is written using the SNMPv2 SMI. The SNMPv1 version of this MIB was approved by the IESG for publication as an Internet Standard. IESG Secretary
