The IESG has received a request from the Point-to-Point Protocol
Extensions Working Group to consider "The PPP Multilink Protocol (MP)"
<draft-ietf-pppext-multilink-12.txt> for the status of Draft Standard.
This is an update to RFC1717, currently a Proposed Standard.

The IESG plans to make a decision in the next few weeks, and solicits
final comments on this action. Please send any comments to the
iesg@cnri.reston.va.us or ietf@cnri.reston.va.us mailing lists by
March 27, 1996.
