A Revised Internet Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts
directories.

       Title : RFC 1327 tutorial
       Author(s) : J. Houttuin
       Filename : draft-houttuin-rfc1327-tutor-01.txt, .ps
       Pages : 35

This tutorial was produced to help RFC 1327 novices, such as new
gateway managers, to find their way into this complicated subject.
End-users are encouraged to read the COSINE MHS pocket user guide
[pug] instead.

The introduction is general enough to be read not only by
gateway managers, but also by those who are new to e-mail in general.
Parts of this introduction can be skipped as needed. To a certain
extent, this document can also be used as a reference guide to
X.400 <-> RFC 822 gatewaying. Wherever there is a lack of detail in
the tutorial, it will at least refer to the corresponding chapters in
other documents. As such, it shields the RFC 1327 novice from too much
detail.
