The IESG has received a request from the Routing Information Protocol
Working Group to consider "Triggered Extensions to RIP to Support
Demand Circuits" <draft-ietf-rip-trigger-rip-02.txt> for the status of
Proposed Standard.

The IESG will also consider publication of Protocol Analysis for
Triggered RIP <draft-ietf-rip-trigger-analysis-00.txt> as an
Informational RFC.

The IESG plans to make a decision in the next few weeks, and solicits
final comments on this action. Please send any comments to
iesg@ietf.org or ietf@cnri.reston.va.us mailing lists by May 20, 1996.
