Always, always check the rules of the countries you intend to land
in even if it is to just change planes prior to departure. This
is the absolute basics of international travel. I even do it for
countries I regularly travel to because the rules change from time
to time.

If you don't understand the rules find a travel agent and ask them
and if possible book through them as well. The need to be compensated
for the advice they provide.

I'm absolutely amazed at the amount of noise this has generated.
