The IESG has received a request from the Whois and Network Information
Lookup Service Working Group to consider "Architecture of the WHOIS++
service" <draft-ietf-wnils-whois-arch-03.txt> for the status of
Proposed Standard.

The IESG will also consider the publication of "Whois and Network
Information Lookup Service Whois++"
<draft-ietf-wnils-whois-lookup-01.txt> as an Informational RFC.

The IESG plans to make a decision in the next few weeks, and solicits
final comments on this action. Please send any comments to the
iesg@cnri.reston.va.us or ietf@cnri.reston.va.us mailing lists by
May 26, 1995.
