Note: This is the second Last Call for this document.  The new
version of the Internet-Draft reflects minor changes made as a
result of comments received during the Last Call period.  Another
Last Call is being initiated because the document is up for the
status of Internet Standard.

The IESG has received a request from the Point-to-Point Protocol
Extensions Working Group to consider "PPP in HDLC-like Framing"
<draft-ietf-pppext-hdlc-fs-02.txt> for the status of Standard.

The IESG plans to make a decision in the next few weeks, and
solicits final comments on this action.  Please send any comments
to the iesg@cnri.reston.va.us, or ietf@cnri.reston.va.us mailing
lists by 9 June 1994.
