A Revised Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts
directories.

Title : UNINETT PCA Policy Statements
       Author(s) : N. Berge
       Filename : draft-uninett-pca-policy-01.txt
       Pages :
       Date : 11/07/1995

This document provides information about policy statements submitted by the
UNINETT Policy Certification Authority (UNINETT PCA). It's purpose is to
provide information to members of the Internet community who wish to
evaluate the trust they can place in a certification path that includes a
certificate issued by the UNINETT PCA, or to set up a CA to be certified by
the UNINETT PCA.

It discusses security requirements imposed on entities residing beneath
the UNINETT PCA. It introduces a new entity, Registration Authorities (RAs),
not described in the PEM [1] documents. Policy and procedures regarding
certification are given in accordance with the PEM [1] documents.

Send a message to: mailserv@ds.internic.net. In the body type:
     "FILE /internet-drafts/draft-uninett-pca-policy-01.txt".

NOTE: The mail server at ds.internic.net can return the document in
MIME-encoded form by using the "mpack" utility. To use this
feature, insert the command "ENCODING mime" before the "FILE"
command. To decode the response(s), you will need "munpack" or
a MIME-compliant mail reader. Different MIME-compliant mail readers
exhibit different behavior, especially when dealing with
"multipart" MIME messages (i.e., documents which have been split
up into multiple messages), so check your local documentation on
      how to manipulate these messages.

For questions, please mail to Internet-Drafts@cnri.reston.va.us.

Below is the data which will enable a MIME compliant mail reader
implementation to automatically retrieve the ASCII version
of the Internet-Draft.
