 The IESG has received a request from the Interfaces MIB Working Group
 to consider "The Interfaces Group MIB" <draft-ietf-ifmib-mib-05.txt>
 for the status of Draft Standard.  This updates RFC15734 (Evolution of
 the Interfaces Group of MIB-II) currently a Proposed Standard.


 The IESG plans to make a decision in the next few weeks, and solicits
 final comments on this action.  Please send any comments to the
 iesg@ietf.org or ietf@ietf.org mailing lists by March 26, 1997.
