Hi Tommy and Marcus,

Thanks very for proposing this agenda. I have two comments here:
1. 13:55 5m draft-ietf-ippm-ioam-yang T. Zhou
I recall, in IETF117,we had an action item to last call for this document after the revision. And I have posted the revision on August 5 based on the working group comments.
I am not sure if another presentation is necessary. Or can we start the last call before the meeting?

2. 14:05 10m draft-gandhi-ippm-stamp-ioam R. Gandhi
I am really happy the see this draft is going to be discussed in the coming meeting. Actually I proposed the idea very early before.
https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-wang-ippm-stamp-hbh-extensions/
The main idea is to use STAMP to collect HbH data. This proposal include two fashions.
The first one is exactly the same as draft-gandhi-ippm-stamp-ioam, using IOAM as the underlay, and extend an IOAM-Tracing-Data TLV to take the forwarding HbH data back to the sending node.
The second one is to use the existing IPv6 mechanism, like router alert, to punt the STAMP test packet up the slow path, and add data to the proposed STAMP TLVs, like Forward HbH Delay TLV.
We find both two fashions are very useful and complement. Because we cannot always get data from the fast path using IOAM. Some data can only be produced in the control plane. So the second is used.
As draft-gandhi-ippm-stamp-ioam has the exactly the same idea as one fashion, I would like to split my document to only focus on the second fashion.
I would also hope the working group can consider draft-wang-ippm-stamp-hbh-extensions. And we would like to present.

Best,
Tianran

Hello IPPM,

We’ve posted a draft agenda for our meeting at IETF 118, to cover active WG drafts, drafts that have received discussion on list, and some requested lightning talks.

https://datatracker.ietf.org/meeting/118/materials/agenda-118-ippm-00.html

Please let us know if you need to adjust any slot you’re signed up for here. If you’d like to request a lightning talk slot, please email ippm-chairs@ietf.org<mailto:ippm-chairs@ietf.org>.

Best,
Tommy & Marcus
