Hi !
Don't know how to hop over to the gendispatch list and reply to Brian's message there.
Forward to BIER WG just to tell ----there hasn't been substantial comments so far on the 6man WG since requested 2 months ago under the bier Chairs' direction.
https://mailarchive.ietf.org/arch/msg/ipv6/3BGWN5o1cwnG_4HwdI5zCPSX_aY/

Reply to 6man WG just to remind our request for comments ----the BIERv6 proposal uses the IPv6-EH mechanism and has a new IPv6 option.
https://tools.ietf.org/id/draft-xie-bier-ipv6-encapsulation-06.txt
Please let us know your comments, especially if you think there are harmful impacts or security problems.

Thanks in advance for your reading and comments.

Best Regards,
Jingrong

I hate to repeat something that should be well known, but I think it's something that people often overlook:

"Adoption" of a draft by a WG does *not* mean that the WG is obliged to later approve it for publication. In fact, adopted drafts that do not reach WG rough consensus usually die.

"Adoption" *does* mean that change control of the draft passes from the authors to the WG.

Unfortunately we don't have a BCP that defines this very clearly. If you think that's a problem, please hop over to the gendispatch list and reply to my message there: https://mailarchive.ietf.org/arch/msg/gendispatch/fhU_Z7rrE_XxyLkoGzAFJLQ04hY/

Regards
   Brian Carpenter
