Subject: DEFERRED until post IETF 119: Mailing lists transition to
mailman3.

I’ve deferred the mailman3 transition again, likely until just after the
IETF 119 meeting.

The rate of additional issues identified by analysis over the last week
indicates that making the full transition now would likely disrupt
pre-meeting communication.

To avoid that disruption, we will be making some incremental changes to
the system that should have no discernible effect on the current alias
and mailman2 list processing. These changes will let us better prepare
for both the mailman3 integration with our specialized message rewriting
and the transition into mailman3 for list owners and moderators.

The first of these incremental changes will occur early next week, on
Feb 20. Again, there should be no discernible effect on the current
alias and mailman2 processing, but should you experience something
unexpected, let us know at tools-discuss@ietf.org (or support@ietf.org
if you need a rapid remedy).
