Hi Folks,

Here is a draft to explain a problem we are currently facing with interoperability issues regarding route preference order for TLV135.
We are wondering if a fix on RFC5305 is needed or not.

Best Regards,

Stephane

A new version of I-D, draft-litkowski-isis-ip-route-preference-issue-00.txt
has been successfully submitted by Stephane Litkowski and posted to the IETF repository.

Name: draft-litkowski-isis-ip-route-preference-issue
Revision:	00
Title: IP Route preference specification issue
Document date:	2014-06-27
Group: Individual Submission
Pages: 6
URL: http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-litkowski-isis-ip-route-preference-issue-00.txt
Status: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-litkowski-isis-ip-route-preference-issue/
Htmlized: http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-litkowski-isis-ip-route-preference-issue-00

Abstract:
This document details a potential specification issue in IP route
preference in ISIS. As a consequence, some implementations does not
interoperate correctly and leads to routing loops. Authors tries to
analyse if we need to fix current specification.

Please note that it may take a couple of minutes from the time of submission until the htmlized version and diff are available at tools.ietf.org.
