After a more careful reading I realize indeed that IPwave WG is not addressed by this liaison.

I think it might have been an error from my part to forward it here.  I am travelling and jet lagged.  Sorry about the error.

I think the ITU CITS sent me that liaison because at the recent ITU CITS meeting I talked about a 3GPP side group about satcom and 5G.  In that group, people consider how satcom (satellite communications) will be integrated with 5G and 6G future 3GPP Releases like Release 19.  Within that group, there are at least two private interests (Bosch and Qualcomm) who talk about satcom and automobile communications.  Hence a potential relationship to people interested in IPwave.

Bottom line, it might be interesting for this list readers (IPwave) to look at the details of this Expert Group, and maybe consider approaching it, maybe individually.

PS: the reason I do not use my gmail email address is because at the hotel where I stay the wifi doesnt allow my normal email reader, so I have to use https.
PPS: the use of cellular communications while travelling is a new mess.  3G is dismounted.  New bands of 5G are the only ones possible.  Only SMS works fine for me.  Roaming is completely different and does not work most of the times.  I am surprised at this situation, and disappinted at the same time.

Hi Alex,
Thanks for the information - but as I understand it, IETF and especially WG IPWave is not addressed by ITU liaison,right? Should we change that? What does the WG and chairs think?
