Hi Bron, Given that certain properties are only valid for specific node types (such as blobId and size for files, or target for symlinks), What do you think about a JSCalendar-esque approach using "@type" tagged types? Under this model, the spec would define three distinct FileNode sub-objects (File, Directory, and SymLink), each accepting only the properties relevant to that type. This would make the schema both self-documenting and easier to validate.
