Folks,
As Marshall and I discussed during the meeting today,
we'd like to put forth a proposal to drop the PE-PE IPSEC
draft, draft-ietf-l3vpn-ipsec-2547. The current editors have
no interest in continuing this work, and there has been no
indications by anyone that they intend to implement it.

As Lou Berger stated at the microphone, there is no
dependency by the softwires work, specifically, here:

draft-ietf-softwire-encaps-ipsec-01.txt

If anyone opposes dropping this draft please speak up now
(and I hope you're willing to write and planning to implement).
The -03 version went to the IESG a while back, and the current
state is IESG queue with "Revised ID Needed".

Please provide feedback on this no later than 8/15.

Thanks!

Marshall & Danny
