I don't know how to literally I should take that - or Peter's claim.

But even if I should take it very literally, that it is all only a 
"coding accident", then we should not fool ourselves into 
believing that that the accident happened because of sloppy ISO 
specifications. The "trouble" is rooted in language reality, no 
matter what. It is not because of ISO that both Nynorsk and Bokmål 
users say that they have Norwegian as mothertongue.

I do absoultely want 3 tags for Norwegian. But I have been 
assuming that it would simpler to use correctly under an extlang 
solution. And I still think that this would be simpler for users 
to get.

I read that there were 70.000 Voro speakers. I do not think that 
this little group wants that their "language striving" only 
results in a big "default to English" each time they cannot have 
Voro content/applications/searchresults.
