Hi Harald,

Can these references be added to the IANA Considerations section? Whenever a document creates a registry, we ask that the document provide its complete contents. 

Presenting potential comments on individual registrations as suggestions that IANA can choose whether to implement is also a problem for us. The IANA staff who implement protocol parameter registration requests have no qualifications for making those decisions (as has been the case since shortly after IANA's transition to ICANN).

IANA sometimes needs to have input into registry presentation, but should not have a role in determining content within the media type registries.
