Dear MEDUP List

We have just published a specification draft for SML (Structured Email),
proposing new parameters for existing header fields to address the problem
on how to reliably detect "Structured Email" (or structured email parts)
for automatic processing, using these header fields as markers.

This discussion takes place on the SML mailing list <sml@ietf.org>.

We are looking forward to your feedback, in particular on the
requirements (on the SML mailing list).

All the best,
  Bernie

Abstract:
Structured Email suggests to complement existing email standards by
means that allow to replace or extend text-based email messages with
message parts that describe content (full or in parts) in a machine-
     readable way.

This document specifies a means to mark messages (or parts of)
     intended for automatic processing.
