Hi, I especially want to mention the badValue usage. The Internet-Standard Management Framework [described in RFC3410] calls for a separation of the MIB from the protocol, so a MIB module should not specify the error codes, since that ties the MIB module to a specific protocol (and possibly version). Ideally, the MIB will be useable with other protocols, such as netconf, but netconf does not have the same error codes as SNMP.
