[MLS] Re: Call for Adoption: draft-kohbrok-mls-two-party-profile-00 (closes 28 July 2026)

I read the draft. I support adoption.

I'd like to +1 Rohan's comments: the intended applications are unclear,
it's unclear whether this will be a wire format that describes how to use
MLS as a black box or whether the intention is to modify MLS, and I'm
concerned about illegal states. Regarding illegal states, the draft allows
Commits to be sent through the ConnectionUpdate structure, but doesn't seem
to say that clients will verify what proposals are in the commit, or
whether the commit is external or from the other user. I'd expect that
there are other things worth rejecting that an underlying vanilla MLS
implementation would happily accept.
