For example, you can simply join the https://mailman3.ietf.org/mailman3/lists/mod-discuss.ietf.org/" rel="nofollow">mod-discuss mailing list and then, from your subscription address, send email along the following lines:
My understanding is that working-group last call (WGLC) was issued in September for a MODPOD draft, with a deadline of "Tuesday October 7 (in any time zone)" for WGLC input.
Until recently, I was not adequately informed of what is happening here. I have now heard about Keith Moore's objection that the draft will do "tremendous harm to IETF's ability to build genuine consensus". This possibility was not obvious from the announcement https://web.archive.org/web/20250827091120/https://mailarchive.ietf.org/arch/msg/ietf-announce/TBaquQhQAndS0o8kBlfWpjBcSSo/ of the creation of MODPOD. I would like more time to evaluate this objection and more broadly to evaluate the costs and benefits of the draft, so I object to WG approval of the draft at this time.
