Dear WG,

I would like to bring to your attention to this draft.(https://www.ietf.org/archive/id/draft-gong-mpls-nrp-oam-mpls-00.txt).

It describes the implementation of the OAM mechanism for NRPs in MPLS Networks by extending existing OAM mechanisms such as ping, traceroute.

Given the NRP application focus of this work, we initially submitted the scenario document (*draft-gong-teas-spring-nrp-oam*) to the TEAS WG where it was presented at IETF 122.We have received favorable feedback for the necessity of these requirements for the NRP scenario.

Since this document primarily describes MPLS-specific extensions, it is therefore intended for discussion within the MPLS working group.

We look forward to your input. Thanks a lot.

Best Regards,

Liyan

This document describes the implementation of the Operations, Administration, and Maintenance (OAM) mechanism for NRPs in MPLS networks. By extending existing OAM mechanisms such as ping, traceroute, the proposed solution enables comprehensive NRP support in MPLS networks. The IETF Secretariat
