Hi,

We have submitted an updated version of draft-mizrahi-ippm-multiplexed-alternate-marking.
https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-mizrahi-ippm-multiplexed-alternate-marking-01

The main change compared to the previous version is that we have added a section that extends the approach to a marking field that is not necessarily a single bit.
The new section mentions MPLS SFLs as an example for marking fields that are longer than one bit (as in draft-bryant-mpls-rfc6374-sfl), and can thus use the multiplexing approach.

Comments will be welcome.

Thanks,
Tal.

Abstract:
This memo introduces a marking method that uses a single marking bit,
or two marking values, and allows accurate loss and delay
   measurement.

Please note that it may take a couple of minutes from the time of submission until the htmlized version and diff are available at tools.ietf.org.
