In today's MPLS WG meeting, Oleg Berzin presented draft-berzin-malis-mpls-mobility-00.txt. If you missed the meeting, or would like a copy of the slides, I've put them online at http://mysite.verizon.net/agmalis/files/draft-berzin-malis-mpls-mobility-00.pdf until they're available at http://tools.ietf.org/agenda/70/ .

This email is, according to Loa's comments at the meeting, meant to kick off two discussions:

1. Does this work belong in the MPLS WG, and if it does, should the group be re-chartered to include MPLS mobility issues?

2. This is also a call for technical comments on the draft itself.

At this point, Oleg and I are primarily interested in feedback on the overall architecture we selected to take advantage of existing components in the MPLS tool set to meet the requirements discussed both in the talk and the presentation.

Thanks much,
Andy
