Hi,

I do not want to give the impression I am against this work.
We will probably implement it.

IMO the best way not to break 5277 implementations or
confuse people is to just extend 5277 with a new RFC
with new operations and new monitoring data.

Here are examples of modules I wrote about 6 years ago
that provide YANG versions of the XSDs in RFC 5277:

http://www.netconfcentral.org/modulereport/nc-notifications
http://www.netconfcentral.org/modulereport/notifications

I think the correct namespaces have to be used to match the XSDs.
