This was our last call. From here on out, discussions will be in NETMOD & NETCONF

Minutes posted at:

· Our DezignTM Team was a gathering of individuals providing informal input to NETCONF. We asked NETCONF WG to comment on our discussion results as a preparation for the WG consensus.

Declaring DezignTM Call Victory

  * Based on draft progress in getting drafts to their current state, we decided we have successfully completed the original purpose of these recurring calls.
  * So let's end on a high note. This is the last call.

Review of Five Drafts - Graphical summary

  * Chatted on the call. Below looks a good functional summary of the drafts we have been discussing. Will present in Chicago.

Reviewed contents of new Notifications2 draft

  * Looked at breakdown of contents, header fields
  * People believe that it is ready for posting to NETMOD. Will go up in coming day or two.
  * Should we have normative header objects identified? (other types would be additional info and derived.) An answer on this will depend on what is mandatory on the list.

Other topics

  * No issues if ‘subscribed-notifications-00’ and ‘yang-push-05’ are posted.
  * Will use deviations (i.e., closing on Balazs’ draft )
  * Will not include Periodic Eventing (per last week's minutes addendum)
  * Planning for IETF: no on-site meetings needed
  * At next IETF, it would be good to have an implementer’s lesson during NETCONF (perhaps Tim will join us.)
