Sorry to chime in late, but I getting on the plane right now.

Coming back on the TCP or UDP ipv4/ipv6. From my experience what can happen is this:

- You open a server on a port and you can bind it to ipv4 or ipv6 or dual-stack. If you want to open another service on a separate port you create a new socket/server. Now this could be done in the same forwarding instance or a separate one (aka VRF).

I have not looked in the model in detail, but this is what I see could practically be implemented.
