This is IPv6 address renumbering problem. 
General solution is 
  1)advertised prefix has a lifetime
  2)MAG SHOULD has mechanism to renew the lifetime or request another prefix.
    As to specific mechanisms, MAG can use PBU to piggyback the renew,  or MAG can tunnel DHCPv6 message
    It depends on the prefix delegation methods which are described in http://tools.ietf.org/wg/netlmm/draft-sarikaya-netlmm-prefix-delegation-00.txt.

IMO, I do not think that is necessary. The advertised prefix has a
lifetime and that should suffice. No?
