This document provides the External Data Representation Standard (XDR)
description for Network File System version 4 (NFSv4) minor version 1. It
would obsolete and replace RFC5662. It was written as part of rfc5661bis
effort and is intended to result in a standards-track document. PAs stated
in the abstract:
----

This document contains the XDR description of NFSv4.1 protocol
(draft-dnoveck-rfc5661bis). In order to facilitate implementations that
support both NFSv4.0 and NFSv4.1, the description includes operations and
other features of NFSv4.0 that do not apply to NFSv4.1.

----

The chairs would like to establish if there is interest in adopting this
document by the nfsv4 working group. Adoption by the working group is not
agreement to pursue standards track, but to formalize the discussion of the
document within the working group. The adoption call will run for two weeks
until the end of day on 10/28/2022 (UTC time). Please send any objections
or expressions of support for adoption to the wg mailing list.

As stated previously, since Dave is the editor of this document, he will
not be involved in determining whether a consensus exists. That
responsibility will fall to me (Brian).
