There are two questions:

1) Can we update 4.0?
2) Is there any interest in updating 4.0?

Ignoring 1), my take on the WG's response in the meeting to 2) was no.

My experience is that users want either NFSv3 or NFSv4.2 (/4.1). They do
not ask for NFSv4.0.
