Call for Papers
*6GNet 2024*

The 3rd International Conference on 6G Networking
October 21-24, 2024 – Paris, France
On-site event

*** Paper submission deadline: *May 13, 2024****

We are pleased to invite your submissions to the 3rd edition of the
International
Conference on 6G Networking (6GNet 2024), which will take place in
Paris, France,
from October 21 to 24, 2024!

6G network research is already ongoing with multiple initiatives
worldwide. Along
the (somewhat questionable) speed race, 6G networking is a tremendous
opportunity
toinvestigate andfoster researchin areas like the needfor massive digital
inclusion and stronger robustness against attacks of any kind,among
other chal-
lengingtopics such asglobal network automation andcross-domain
service/slice
design, delivery and operation.6G networking may also be seen as a true
conver-
gencepoint where the distinctionbetween fixed and mobile infrastructures
would
not make sense anymore.The research effort in this area of convergence
has been
ignited for quite some timebut dramatically progressed with 5G
techniques, pos-
siblycombined with others likeadvanced forwarding schemes (multi-path
communi-
cation designs) or AI/ML-fueled network automation. This 3rd 6G
conference there-
fore aims at assessing the progress of the various research efforts in
areas that
will forge 6G networks.

The 2024 6GNet Conference will bring together top-notch experts from
academia and
industry(including network operators)to stimulate discussions,introduce new
ideas and thereby contribute to the progress of 6G networking research.
We invite
authors to submit original contributions in all areas of 6G networks.

Topics include but are not limited to:
* 6G applications and use cases
* 6G architectures and visions
* 6G green networking and sustainability
* 6G physical layers and frequencies
* 6G RAN
* 6G core network
* 6G direct link
* 6G satellite and 3Dnetworks
* Non-public towards 6G
* Innovation for 6G (semantic and goal oriented communication)
* Implementations, testbeds, and prototypes (pre 6G and 5G lessons learned)
* Hybrid technology (Wi-Fi 8 and 6G)
* Localization in 6G
* Security and privacy within 6G
* Edge and embedded edge cloud computing
* Softwarization and virtualization in fixed and mobile networks
* 6G QoS and slicing
* Global 6G network automation (from service/slice parameter exposure and
negotiation to service/slice fulfillment and assurance)
* Dynamic inter-domain service/slice (including service function chaining)
design and provisioning
* AI/ML driven network automation/orchestration techniques
* Zero-touch networks
* 6G migration strategies (coexistence with 5G and legacy techs)

*** Submission guidelines ***
6G Network 2024 solicits original, unpublished work not currently under
review by
other conferences or journals. All Papers submitted to 6G Networking
2024 will be
assessed basedon originality,technical soundness,clarity and interestto a
wide audience.

Technical papers can beof two types:full papers and short papers. Full
papers
will not exceed 9 pages (11-point font) including tables, figures and
references.
Short papers should not exceed 5 pages (11-point font)including tables,
figures
and references.

All Submissions must be written in English, and must use standard IEEE
two-column
conference template, available for download from the IEEE website:
https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html

Only PDF files will be acceptedfor the review process, and all
submissions must
be done electronically through EDAS using the following link:
https://edas.info/N32209

Papers exceeding page limits,multiple submissions,and self-plagiarized
papers
will be rejected without further review. All other papers will sustain a
thorough
single-blind review process.

For accepted papers to be included on 6GNet 2024 proceedings, at least
one author
must registerat the Author rate, and papers must be presentedin-person
at the
conference by a registered co-author for post-conference proceedings.

Authors of best papers will be invited to submit an extended version in
Annals of
Telecommunications, a Springer Journal.
