It appears that Joe Clarke (jclarke) <jclarke@cisco.com> said: >-=-=-=-=-=- > >As the IPR poll has concluded (no IPR has been reported), the authors and chairs would like to call for adoption of >https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-gasser-opsawg-prefix-lengths/ . Please reply on-list with comments, support for, or reasons >not to adopt this work as a WG document. > >We will run a two-week adoption call, ending on January 29. Yes, please adopt it. People at large mail providers have told me that they would find the IPv6 prefix info very useful. I don't think the v4 prefix info as proposed is useful because I don't think it reflects the way networks allocate IPv4 addresses these days but it is at worst harmless. R's, John
