Hi,

We have updated draft-ietf-opsawg-oam-overview following the comments we received in IETF last call.
http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-opsawg-oam-overview-09

This document went into IETF last call in January, and we received comments from (in chronological order): Benoit Claise, Al Morton, Sam Aldrin, Tom Nadeau, Carlos Pignataro, Elwyn Davies, Sasha Vainshtein, Dan Romascanu, Thomas Narten, Joel Jaeggli.
We carefully considered each and every comment, and significantly edited the document to address these comments.
After we revised the document some of our reviewers kindly agreed to reiterate on the document in 1x1 sessions, allowing us to verify that we addressed the major comments.
A brief summary of the changes in the document:
- We practically rewrote the introduction; we added a subsection about the target audience, and add general background about OAM including some historical background.
- The structure of the document went through a significant revision as well; for example, we moved the list of OAM documents to an appendix, and moved the terminology section closer to the beginning.
- We revised the terminology section: we added quite a few terms that were used without definition, and we fixed some inaccurate existing definitions. We also did some major editing throughout the document to verify that the terminology is used consistently.
- We added content that was missing in previous version of the draft, e.g., TRILL OAM.

We encourage the reviewers to go over the updated document and let us know if there are any further comments.
Any further comments from the WG are welcome.

Thanks,
Tal.
