In the ~/quiputailor file or the equivalent set the parameter:
slavetime - in seconds, this determines the frequency of polling
for slave updates.  Also turn slave updates on (update on).

I don't think the DSA re-reads this tailor file dynamically it may
take a restart (in-situ or otherwise) to affect the change.  Question -
Why would you need to change the polling rate dynamically?
