When we adapted RFC 6845 as a WG document, we also agree to accept the application of the OSPF MANET drafts to satisfy the one-hop requirement. In both cases, there are no functional changes to the existing RFCs - only specification of how the existing OSPF MANET mechanisms would be used in single-hop networks. At this time, we believe these OSPF single-hop drafts are ready to WG last call. While both drafts are short, they require extensive knowledge of the OSPF MANET drafts that they update. I will asking individuals previously involved with the OSPF MANET work to review and shepherd the drafts.

Thanks,
Acee
