Hi Greg, I noticed a typo in section "2.1.1.1. Heuristic for Load Balancing", enumeration item 2: the binary representation of 0x6 has the two low order bits swapped. OLD: If the MFN is 0x6 (0101b) NEW: If the MFN is 0x6 (0110b) Best regards, Erik On 30.05.23 18:41, Greg Mirsky wrote: > Dear All, > updates in the new version include: > > - a strong reminder that the correct interpretation of the MPLS First > Nibble only in the context of the preceding LSE or block of LSEs; > - added reference to NSH Base in the MPLS First Nibble table; > - fixed several nits. > > The authors welcome and greatly appreciate your comments, questions, and > suggestions. > > Regards, > Greg > > ---------- Forwarded message --------- > From: <internet-drafts@ietf.org> > Date: Tue, May 30, 2023 at 9:34 AM > Subject: New Version Notification for draft-ietf-mpls-1stnibble-01.txt > To: Greg Mirsky <gregimirsky@gmail.com>, Kireeti Kompella < > kireeti.ietf@gmail.com>, Loa Andersson <loa@pi.nu>, Matthew Bocci < > matthew.bocci@nokia.com>, Stewart Bryant <sb@stewartbryant.com> > > > > A new version of I-D, draft-ietf-mpls-1stnibble-01.txt > has been successfully submitted by Greg Mirsky and posted to the > IETF repository. > > Name: draft-ietf-mpls-1stnibble > Revision: 01 > Title: IANA Registry for the First Nibble Following a Label Stack > Document date: 2023-05-30 > Group: mpls > Pages: 14 > URL: > https://www.ietf.org/archive/id/draft-ietf-mpls-1stnibble-01.txt > Status: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-mpls-1stnibble/ > Html: > https://www.ietf.org/archive/id/draft-ietf-mpls-1stnibble-01.html > Htmlized: > https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/draft-ietf-mpls-1stnibble > Diff: > https://author-tools.ietf.org/iddiff?url2=draft-ietf-mpls-1stnibble-01 > > Abstract: > The goal of this memo is to create a new IANA registry (called the > MPLS First Nibble registry) for the first nibble (4-bit field) > immediately following an MPLS label stack.
