Hi WG, Thanks for your comments and suggestions from Dhruv, Andrew and Janos at last presentation! The authors updated a new version-06 like following: 1, changed the DLI encoding to align with the draft-ietf-detnet-dataplane-taxonomy 2, changed the metric name from "jitter" to "variation" and changed to three metric types to align with RFC8655 3, added deterministic path computation and calculation for end-to-end bounded latency metrics 4, added defination and clarification for DP-RRO subobject 5, added encoding example for the operations of DP-ERO and DP-RRO subobject Hope this new version can help to address your concerns. Further feedback are very welcome! Thanks! Name: draft-xiong-pce-detnet-bounded-latency Revision: 06 Title: PCEP Extension for Bounded Latency Date: 2025-10-20 Group: Individual Submission Pages: 17 URL: https://www.ietf.org/archive/id/draft-xiong-pce-detnet-bounded-latency-06.txt Status: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-xiong-pce-detnet-bounded-latency/ HTML: https://www.ietf.org/archive/id/draft-xiong-pce-detnet-bounded-latency-06.html HTMLized: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/draft-xiong-pce-detnet-bounded-latency Diff: https://author-tools.ietf.org/iddiff?url2=draft-xiong-pce-detnet-bounded-latency-06 Abstract: In certain networks, such as Deterministic Networking (DetNet), it is required to consider the bounded latency for path selection. This document describes the extensions for Path Computation Element Communication Protocol (PCEP) to carry the bounded latency constraints and distribute deterministic paths for end-to-end path computation in deterministic services.
