Hi PCE WG,

Per feedbacks from the Prague meeting and offline discussions, we have updated the lsp scheduling draft as below:

URL:            https://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-zhuang-pce-stateful-pce-lsp-scheduling-01.txt

Status:         https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-zhuang-pce-stateful-pce-lsp-scheduling/

Htmlized:       https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-zhuang-pce-stateful-pce-lsp-scheduling-01

Diff:           https://www.ietf.org/rfcdiff?url2=draft-zhuang-pce-stateful-pce-lsp-scheduling-01

Major changes include:

1.      Add Daniele as co-author;
2.      Remove section 4.4 of LSP synchronization by using PCC;
3.      Remove section 4.3.3 of extension to PCInitiate message;
4.      Remove the extension of A flag on PCUpd msg to activate the scheduled LSP by PCE;
5. Using PCReq and PCRep message to provide LSP scheduling synchronization among PCEs.

In general, we change the solution to use PCEs to maintain and synchronize scheduling state information (stored in database) within the system, instead of PCC.

Besides, related to this work, we also have a draft on architectural discussion to seek the architecture for resource-scheduled LSPs, which can be found in TEAs group as below:

https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-zhuang-teas-scheduled-resources-00

Comments and suggestions are welcomed.

Please let us know if the new version doesn't solve your raised concerns.

Thank you very much!

Regards,

Yan(Qin/Dhruv/Daniele)
