Dear all,

Please find announcement of the new version of our draft about stateful inter-domain.

Main modifications are as follow:

 - From the experience we learnt with the implementation of the draft in OpenDayLight, we correct and precise some steps and exchange in section 3. E.g. the ERO convey in the PCInitiate message is now only composed by the PKS to simplify the message parsing
 - Add a new section to request a new Inter-domain association ID (within the Association Object). This is to help the management of the association of local and end-to-end part of the tunnels in case of failure.
 - Rewrite section 6, clarifying Segment Routing part and how PCE choose between RSVP-TE and Segment Routing to enforce its local part of the end-to-end tunnel
 - Correct typos and clarify acronyms in various place
 - Update references
 - Step down Dhruv from author's list to acknowledge section due to its new function as PCE WG co-chair

Note that this draft is also replacing draft-lee-pce-lsp-stitching-hpce-01.txt (process to add it with ietf tools seems didn't work as expected).

As usual, comments are welcome.

Regards

Olivier on behalf of co-authors

Abstract:
This document proposes to combine a Backward Recursive or
Hierarchical method in Stateful PCE with PCInitiate message to setup
independent paths per domain, and combine these different paths
together in order to operate them as end-to-end inter-domain paths
without the need of signaling session between AS border routers. A
new Stitching Label is defined, new Path Setup Types and a new
Association Type are considered for that purpose.

Please note that it may take a couple of minutes from the time of submission
until the htmlized version and diff are available at tools.ietf.org.
