This document is the product of the Public-Key Infrastructure (X.509) Working 
Group. 

The IESG contact persons are Steve Bellovin and Russ Housley.

Technical Summary

Certificates have to be flagged for particular uses.  Thus, an email certificate 
can't be used for code-signing.  This document describes how to mark a certificate 
for PPP and Wireless LAN authentication.
