I agree that we should avoid the common misconception between "ex-officio"
and "non-voting".
That said, the IAB chair and IETF LLC ED are ex-officio IESG members, are
they not?
The fact that they're also non-voting is somewhat of an implementation
detail to the inner
workings of the IESG, and I'm not sure we'd want to be prescriptive about
such things.

Can you say why you would like that? Our rationale for removing this
was that it was redundant with RFC 2026 (and the bis).

In the draft, it says:
