Hi PWE3 working group,

Following the presentation in the IETF79 Beijing and subsequent discussions, we just submitted the 02-version of the Internet-draft.
http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-jin-pwe3-cbit-negotiation-02

This draft is a result of many face-to-face, mailing-list and private discussions with people participating in the working group. It describes a problem of control word negotiation mechanism in RFC4447 and proposes a solution. This is based on real requirements.

01-version (Oct 11, 2010)
Four possible solutions were listed for consideration:
Option 1: Change PW LDP Dynamic Negotiation Process
Option 2: Make CW Non-Configurable
Option 3: Manual Configuration Process for CW
Option 4: Make CW Capability Mandatory

01-version (Oct 22, 2010)
Based on feedback received, Option 1 was revised to Control Word Re-Negotiation by Label Request. The 01-version was preseneted in IETF79 Beijing and triggered further discussions in the meeting and on the mailing list.

02-version (Dec 8, 2010)
Based on feedback received, Option 1 is now proposed as solution, described in more details plus updated C-bit Handling Procedures Diagram in appendix. Other options have been removed.

The authors would like to have your review on this short draft and please provide your feedback.

Best regards,
Raymond Key
