Linda Dunbar and I have posted a revised version (-10) of the draft-ietf-pwe3-fc-encap draft.

There's been a significant change in plans - the fc-flow draft and its Selective Retransmission (SR) protocol are going to be abandoned. This will bring the Fibre Channel pseudowire functionality (and applicability) closer to that of other pseudowires. All the fields that the SR protocol used have been left in place with added requirements that receivers MUST ignore them (to defend against attempts to use that protocol).

This will *not* be the final version of the fc-encap draft. There are some Fibre Channel (T11) standards changes that will be needed to dovetail with the new fc-encap draft and those will not be ready until after the Anaheim IETF meetings.

There should be an opportunity to talk about this draft in Anaheim.

Thanks,
--David
